In May 2012 Jürgen and I did some new recordings, four years had passed since our first CD had been released (Evening And Morning - FMRCD245-1207). These new recordings have never been released on CD and although you could download them from another site I'm happy to make them available on Bandcamp now.
Recording with Jürgen is always a joy, the main ingredients being adventure and unpredictability. We never decide anything beforehand, we just start playing and go wherever the music takes us. Never would I have suspected that we would record a track with a definite seventies-fusion feel (looking for harmony and balance) ! I'm still not sure if we should be embarrased or proud ... Neither did I know Jürgen could play some amazing percussion on his laptop but on 'multicolored shadows' there certainly is some sort of groove happening ...
These recordings were done in a very basic way, stereo microphone, no editing, no overdubs. i hope you like them and if you do, make sure to also listen to Elac Duo, our most recent recordings also available on Bandcamp
