a surprise, a new Jeff Greinke! i was always hoping that one day he would return to his early ethnic style after his definitive move towards modern ambient chamber music.. but this 'new direction' really hits the spot for me. beautiful introspective harmonics and textures. very difficult to pick a favorite track here. 'Lost Terrain' was personally an important release to me and this one will be that most likely too.. i hope his future work will bring more like this..

i must admit now that i collect hendrix covers. his material is SO strong that there are many, and very few really ones. this is one of the best ever. these tracks are hot, and strange, and beautiful, and strong, yet essentially faithful in a colorful way. magical workings!
